Uxbridge rolls over Little Britain, 7-1Little Britain Sat, Nov 10, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
The Uxbridge Bruins were firing on all cylinders against the Little Britain Merchants, and when the final buzzer sounded Bruins emerged with a 7-1 win. Callum Lynch had one goal and two assists to lead Uxbridge. Lynch scored on the power play 3:41 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Uxbridge. The Bruins earned a power play opportunity when Cam Palmer was put in the box for checking from behind. Dylan Locke provided the assist. Uxbridge found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. This season, the Bruins average 4.3 goals per contest. Uxbridge took advantage of Little Britain's penalties, tallying three goals off of five power play opportunities. The Bruins got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. Uxbridge also got points from Locke, who also racked up one goal and two assists. Uxbridge also got a goal from Andrew Liboiron as well. Other players who recorded assists for Uxbridge were Michael Spataro, who had two, Keegan Cairns, who had three, and Billy McBeth and Dylan Ross, who each chipped in one. The Merchants could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Little Britain puts an average of 3.1 pucks into the net per game. The Merchants' offense were handcuffed by Uxbridge's defensive play, and Little Britain managed only seven shots on goal during the game. Brandon Francey rejected six shots on goal for the Bruins. Uxbridge incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Merchants' starting goalie, Neil Pittock, made 10 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Garrett Haden, who stopped zero shots. Little Britain incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. For the Merchants, Palmer was ejected from the game.
