The St. Catharines Falcons and the Port Colborne Pirates were evenly matched throughout their contest, but St. Catharines made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-3. The Falcons gained the winning advantage on a goal by Greg Jambrosich 13:12 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer. Jambrosich had a great game for St. Catharines, netting two goals. Port Colborne was unable to stop the Falcons from sending pucks towards the net, and St. Catharines eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. St. Catharines additionally got points from Ben Walsh, who also had one goal and one assist and Luke Karaim, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for St. Catharines were Tyler Jackson, Yanni Rallis, Aaron Taylor, Dan MacEachern, and Julian Luciani, who each chipped in one.
