The Niagara Falls Canucks pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over the Port Colborne Pirates on a clutch goal by Cole Vinnai. Niagara Falls came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Canucks trailed 2-0 after a goal by Port Colborne's Charlie Izaguirre at 6:26 in the second period. Niagara Falls knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Bryan Komasara at 12:56 in the third period. Johnny Curran had two goals to lead the Canucks to victory. Curran's tallies came at 17:28 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Port Colborne and 12:35 into the third to make the score 3-2 Niagara Falls. The Niagara Falls penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled nine minors and one major for 53 minutes in penalty time.
