LaSalle downs Lambton Shores, 2-1

Brad Carroll finished with one point to lead the LaSalle Vipers to a 2-1 victory over the Lambton Shores Predators.

Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 13:46 into the second period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts.

LaSalle also got a goal from Eric Noel as well. More assists for LaSalle came via Blake Jones, Dylan Denomme, Richard Villani, and Patrick Murphy, who contributed one a piece.

Lambton Shores racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with five minors and two majors for 30 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 19.0 minutes per game the Predators had been spending in the box. Lambton Shores was held below its usual level of production. The Predators average 3.2 goals per game.

Lambton Shores was led by Adam Arseneault, who scored the team's only goal. Arseneault scored on the power play 3:50 into the third period to make the score 1-0 Lambton Shores. The Predators earned a power play opportunity when Noel was put in the box for tripping. Kyle Brothers provided the assist.

LaSalle's Taylor Speed stopped 21 shots out of the 22 that he faced. The Vipers totaled 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors and two majors and went 1-for-5 on the power play. Team's Nathan Savage and Brendan McCann were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game. Brandon Campbell made 23 saves for Lambton Shores on 25 shots. The Predators registered one goal on five power play opportunities. For Lambton Shores, Matteo Ciccarelli and Cale Duberry were ejected from the contest.
