The Guelph Hurricanes tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Stratford Cullitons would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2. Stratford took a 3-1 lead during the second period, only to have Guelph storm back on a Matt Lippa goal 11:42 into the third period to pull to one goal down. The Cullitons were led by Jared Culliton, who tallied one goal. Culliton scored 15:11 into the second period to make the score Stratford. Mike Pleon assisted on the tally.
