James Soper lifted the Waterloo Siskins to a 7-4 victory with a hat trick against the Guelph Hurricanes. Soper got on the scoresheet 12:04 into the first period. He then added goals at 15:01 into the first and at 15:26 into the third.Waterloo forced Guelph goalie Jason DaSilva to work between the pipes, taking 60 shots. The Siskins surpassed their usual scoring output this season. This season, Waterloo averages 4.0 goals per contest. Waterloo also got points from Christian Mroczkowski, who also racked up one goal and two assists. Waterloo also got a goal from Danny Hanlon as well.
