The Leamington Flyers tried to dig themselves out of a three-goal hole, but the London Nationals held on for a 3-2 victory. London took a 3-0 lead during the second period, only to have Leamington storm back on a Eric Leardi goal 8:55 into the third period to pull to one goal down. The Nationals were helped by Sean Consitt, who racked up one goal. Consitt scored 12:16 into the first period to make the score 1-0 London. Aaron Dartch picked up the assist. London additionally got points from Noah Schwartz, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Blake Thomas, who also registered one goal and one assist. In addition, London received assists from Tyler Bryden, who had two. The Flyers forced London goalie Nick Dampier to work between the pipes, taking 43 shots. Leamington also got a goal from Chris Scott as well. More assists for Leamington came via Alex Seguin, who had one. Dampier recorded 41 saves for the Nationals. London incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Leamington's Austyn Roudebush stopped 18 shots out of the 21 that he faced. The Flyers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
