London beats LaSalle 4-2 after comeback scare

The LaSalle Vipers tried their best to erase a four-goal deficit, but the London Nationals would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-2.

A goal by Paul Hopkins put London up 4-0 in the second period, but LaSalle pulled to within two on Dylan Denomme's tally 15:59 into the third period.

The Nationals were helped by Keaton Ratcliffe, who tallied one goal. Ratcliffe scored 17:24 into the first period to make the score 2-0 London. Connor Allison assisted on the tally. Noah Schwartz also scored for London. In addition, London received assists from Matt Fuller, Ryan Tuffin, Tyler Bryden, Tierney Sean, Matt Wildman, Robert MacFarlane, and Aaron Dartch, who each chipped in one.

The Vipers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three London power plays.

LaSalle also got a goal from Korey Morgan as well.

Taylor Edwards rejected 24 shots on goal for London. The Nationals incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Taylor Speed recorded 14 saves for LaSalle. The Vipers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
