Leamington downs LaSalle in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The Leamington Flyers' Tony Spidalieri scored 4:10 into overtime to beat the LaSalle Vipers, 4-3 (OT).

Leamington was led by Spidalieri, who finished with one goal.

The Flyers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four LaSalle power plays.

Leamington additionally got points from Chris Scott, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Leamington also got a goal from Nick Beaune as well. Other players who recorded assists for Leamington were Corey Beaulieu, Jacob McGhee, Troy Cox, and Alex Seguin, who each chipped in one.

LaSalle could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game.

The Vipers were helped by Graeme Brown, who racked up one goal. Brown scored 16:38 into the second period to make the score 3-2 LaSalle. Nathan Savage assisted on the tally. LaSalle also got points from Dylan Denomme, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Korey Morgan also scored for LaSalle. In addition, LaSalle received assists from Zack Percy, Ben Hanus, and Spencer VanBuskirk, who contributed one a piece.

Austyn Roudebush recorded 18 saves for Leamington. The Flyers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Leamington ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Brett Langlois was ejected from the game. LaSalle's Taylor Speed stopped 24 shots out of the 28 that he faced.
