Adam Arseneault lifted the Lambton Shores Predators to a 6-3 victory with a hat trick against the St. Thomas Stars. Arseneault's first goal came 3:28 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:27 into the second and at 19:36 into the third.Lambton Shores pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 16 penalty minutes. St. Thomas was unable to stop the Predators from sending pucks towards the net, and Lambton Shores eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. The Predators surpassed their usual scoring output this season. Lambton Shores averages 3.3 goals per game. Lambton Shores also got points from Ryan Rontondi, who also had one goal and one assist. Cale Duberry also scored for Lambton Shores. Other players who recorded assists for Lambton Shores were Adam Wammes, Brett Thompson, Kyler Keating, Tanner Ferguson, Connor Annett, and Cleo Gubbles, who contributed one a piece and Jim McKinlay and Kyle Brothers, who each chipped in two. The Stars forced the Predators goalie Brandon Campbell to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. St. Thomas was helped by Martin Kudla, who finished with one goal. Kudla scored 12:59 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Mike Iacocca assisted on the tally. St. Thomas also got a goal from Cam Garrow as well. More assists for St. Thomas came via Kevin Zacharuk, Braden Hellems, Colin Mooney, Drew Collinson, and Chris Maton, who contributed one a piece. Campbell rejected 30 shots on goal for Lambton Shores. The Predators registered one goal on six power play opportunities. Donald Edwards recorded 27 saves for the Stars. St. Thomas incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
