Waterloo falls to Caledonia in overtime, 2-1 (OT)

The Caledonia Corvairs' Tyler Norrie scored 59 seconds into overtime to beat the Waterloo Siskins, 2-1 (OT).

Caledonia was led by goalie Justis Husak, who finished with 26 saves while allowing one goal. Husak certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.59 entering the contest.

The Corvairs were led by Norrie, who grabbed one goal.

Caledonia forced Waterloo goalie PJ Bridges to work between the pipes, taking 40 shots.

Caledonia also got a goal from Nate Mitton as well. Other players who recorded assists for Caledonia were Ryan Blunt, Jeff Swift, Brandon Montour, and Leonard Dziemianko, who contributed one a piece.

The Siskins did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Waterloo puts an average of 4.0 pucks into the net per game.

The Siskins were led by Matthew Mah, who scored the team's only goal. Mah scored on the power play 8:44 into the second period to make the score 1-1. A tripping penalty on Montour had put Waterloo on the power play. Christian Mroczkowski assisted on the tally.

The Corvairs incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Siskins' Bridges stopped 38 shots out of the 40 that he faced. Waterloo incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
