Arseneault nets hat trick, leads Lambton Shores to 6-3 win over St. Marys

The St. Marys Lincolns could not stop the Lambton Shores Predators' Adam Arseneault, who tallied a hat trick in a 6-3 win.

Arseneault's first goal came 4:25 into the first period. He then added goals at 11:19 into the first and at 11:28 into the third.

Lambton Shores excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Predators bested their season scoring average. Lambton Shores has scored at the pace of 3.3 goals per game during the current campaign.

Lambton Shores also got points from Kyle Brothers, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Cale Duberry, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Cleo Gubbles, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Lambton Shores were Tanner Ferguson, who had two and Jim McKinlay and Ryan Rontondi, who contributed one a piece.

St. Marys forced the Predators goalie Brandon Campbell to work between the pipes, taking 42 shots.

The Lincolns were helped by Mike Siddall, who finished with two goals. Siddall scored the first of his two goals at 19:30 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Lambton Shores. Tyler Bryson provided the assist. Siddall's next tally made the score 3-2 Lambton Shores with 14:38 left in the second period. Bryson assisted on the tally. St. Marys additionally got points from Reid Oliver, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. In addition, St. Marys received assists from Sean Consitt and Jonathan Rizzo, who each chipped in one.

Campbell recorded 39 saves for Lambton Shores. The Predators incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Devin Golets made 24 saves for St. Marys on 28 shots. The Lincolns incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
