Noah Schwartz netted a hat trick to lead the London Nationals over the St. Thomas Stars, 6-3. Schwartz got on the scoresheet 14:32 into the second period. He then added goals at 3:18 into the third and at 19:22 into the third.London's offense rang up 32 shots on St. Thomas' net. The Nationals' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. London additionally got points from Paxton Leroux, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Mark Gazdic also scored for London. More assists for London came via Blake Thomas, who had four and Shawn Crowley, Ryan Wells, Connor Allison, Paul Hopkins, Scott Lombardi, Derek Todosichuk, and Aaron Dartch, who contributed one a piece. The Stars kept London's goalie busy throughout the game, and Taylor Edwards made 33 saves on 36 shots. St. Thomas was helped by Colin Mooney, who finished with one goal. Mooney scored 16:44 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Michael Lucifora assisted on the tally. St. Thomas also got a goal from Ian MacDonald as well. In addition, St. Thomas received assists from Lawson Crouse, Cam Garrow, Martin Kudla, Luc Knight, and Trevor Abbott, who each chipped in one. The Nationals incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Donald Edwards recorded 26 saves for the Stars. St. Thomas incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
