Cameron leads Listowel over Waterloo, 5-2

Caleb Cameron had one goal and two assists to lead the Listowel Cyclones to a 5-2 victory over the Waterloo Siskins.

Cameron got on the board by slotting home a goal 3:38 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Listowel. Jacob Robitaille assisted on the tally. Cameron dished an assist on Patrick Bell's goal that made the score 2-1 Waterloo at 11:03 into the first period. He added another helper on Robitaille's goal that made the score 4-2 Listowel at 8:43 into the third period.

Listowel kept Waterloo's goalie busy throughout the game, and PJ Bridges made 46 saves on 51 shots.

Listowel also got points from Bell, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Robitaille, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Listowel also got a goal from Chris Gillman as well. In addition, Listowel received assists from Kyle Ellis, Tanner Mighton, and Carter Stewart, who each chipped in one.

The Siskins were helped by Stephen Witiuk, who tallied one goal. Witiuk scored on the power play 5:32 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Waterloo. A hooking penalty on Sam Harris had put Waterloo on the power play. Trevor Atkinson APJ provided the assist. Adam Campagnolo also scored for Waterloo. Other players who recorded assists for Waterloo were Christian Mroczkowski, who had one.

Daniel Dekoning recorded 26 saves for the Cyclones. Listowel incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Siskins incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
