Zach Easvet recorded a shutout against the Listowel Cyclones as the Caledonia Corvairs picked up a 4-0 win.

Caledonia's penalty kill excelled, as the Corvairs gave up zero goals despite allowing 13 power plays.

Caledonia stifled Listowel's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Corvairs was steadier on the defensive front than they have been for much of this season. Caledonia allows 2.7 goals per game. The Corvairs forced the Cyclones goalie Drew Reinhardt to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots. Caledonia could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 28 minutes in penalties during the game.

The Corvairs were helped by Tyler Norrie, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Norrie scored on the power play 2:31 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Caledonia. Caledonia had gained a power play chance when Mac Nichol was whistled for checking from behind. Matt Quilty assisted on the tally. Caledonia additionally got points from Connor Murphy, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Quilty, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Fabrizio Ricci also scored for Caledonia. More assists for Caledonia came via Brier Jonathan, Jeff Swift, Steven Comegna, Greg Christmas, and Brandon Montour, who each chipped in one.

Listowel's offense operated below it season average. The Cyclones average 3.7 goals per game.

Easvet rejected 27 shots on goal for the Corvairs. Caledonia registered two goals on eight power play opportunities. The Corvairs ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Nathan Ferris was ejected from the game. Listowel's Reinhardt stopped 33 shots out of the 37 that he faced. The Cyclones incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. For Listowel, Nichol was ejected from the game.
