Campbell stymies Sarnia, Lambton Shores wins 2-1

Brandon Campbell had a standout game with 27 saves, and the Lambton Shores Predators beat the Sarnia Legionnaires 2-1.

Lambton Shores was paced by Austin Fetterly, who finished with one goal. Fetterly scored 1:43 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Lambton Shores. Dillon Liberty assisted on the tally.

Lambton Shores also got a goal from Kyle Brothers as well. More assists for Lambton Shores came via Brandon Butler, Ryan Rontondi, and Matteo Ciccarelli, who contributed one a piece.

Sarnia's offense operated below it season average. The Legionnaires put an average of 3.5 pucks into the net per game.

Sarnia was led by Jeff Bauer, who scored the team's only goal. Bauer scored on the power play 1:27 into the third period to make the score 1-1. The Legionnaires had taken the advantage when the Predators' Butler got sent off for hooking. Jason Teschke picked up the assist.

Lambton Shores incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Andrew Ganter recorded 19 saves for Sarnia. The Legionnaires incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
