St. Marys blows out Stoney Creek, 4-1

The St. Marys Lincolns were firing on all cylinders against the Stoney Creek Warriors, and when the final buzzer sounded Lincolns emerged with a 4-1 win.

St. Marys was led by Brandon Lamothe, who tallied one goal. Lamothe scored 3:22 into the first period to make the score 2-0 St. Marys. David Sproat provided the assist.

The Lincolns' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Stoney Creek power plays. Stoney Creek was unable to stop St. Marys from sending pucks towards the net, and the Lincolns eventually piled up 41 shots on goal.

St. Marys also got points from Tyson Baker, who also finished with one goal and one assist. St. Marys also got a goal from Kurtis Lavis as well. In addition, St. Marys received assists from Dean Pawlaczky, who had one and Mike Siddall and Matt Tsioros, who contributed two a piece.

The Warriors were led by Ryan Lewis, who scored the team's only goal. Lewis scored 9:41 into the first period to make the score 2-1 St. Marys. Blake Luscombe assisted on the tally.

Craig Wood rejected 16 shots on goal for St. Marys. The Lincolns incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Alexander Brooks-Potts recorded 37 saves for Stoney Creek. The Warriors incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
