Morgan, Noel lead LaSalle over St. Marys, 7-3

Behind two goals and one assist from Korey Morgan and two goals and one assist from Eric Noel, the LaSalle Vipers downed the St. Marys Lincolns 7-3.

Morgan scored the first of his two goals at 7:13 into the first period to make the score 1-0 LaSalle. Dylan Denomme provided the assist. Morgan's next tally made the score 2-1 LaSalle with 19:10 left in the second period. Denomme assisted on the tally. Noel scored the first of his two goals at 15:56 into the second period to make the score 5-3 LaSalle. Ben Hanus provided the assist. Noel's next tally made the score 6-3 LaSalle with 3:34 left in the second period. Dylan Seguin picked up the assist.

LaSalle outdid its season average for goals scored. The Vipers average 3.5 goals per game.

LaSalle additionally got points from Denomme, who also tallied one goal and two assists, Hanus, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Noel, who also grabbed two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. LaSalle also got a goal from Nathan Savage as well. Other players who recorded assists for LaSalle were Zack Percy, who had two and Chris Pignanelli, Nathan Veres, and Scott Prier, who contributed one a piece.

St. Marys was led by Owen MacDonald, who tallied two goals. MacDonald scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 2:53 into the second period to make the score 2-2. The Lincolns had gained a power play chance when Noel was whistled for slashing. Sean Consitt assisted on the tally. MacDonald's next tally on the power play made the score 3-3 with 9:48 left in the second period. St. Marys had taken the advantage when LaSalle's Austin Fontaine got sent off for slashing. Consitt picked up the assist. Reid Oliver also scored for St. Marys. More assists for St. Marys came via Jonathan Rizzo, who had one and Kurtis Lavis, who had two.

Taylor Speed took the win and made seven saves before being replaced by Conner MacKinnon who made 10 saves. The Vipers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Lincolns' starting goalie, Devin Golets, made 20 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Craig Wood, who stopped zero shots. St. Marys totaled 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 3-for-7 on the power play. For the Lincolns, Kyle Flemington was ejected from the game.
