The Welland Jr. Canadians failed to take advantage of their power play opportunities and the Niagara Falls Canucks shook off a number of penalties to win, 2-1.

Niagara Falls was paced by Michael Christou, who grabbed one goal. Christou scored 18:11 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Niagara Falls. Cam Stewart assisted on the tally.
