Craig, Michigan blank Toledo, 3-0

Spencer Craig was superb between the pipes for the Michigan Mountain Cats, as he did not allow a goal in a 3-0 victory over the Toledo Cherokee.

Bryan Davis was all over the ice for Michigan, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Davis scored on the power play 3:35 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Michigan. The Mountain Cats had gotten the advantage when Toledo's Jordan Prewitt was sent off for tripping. Austin Sartorius assisted on the tally.

Michigan put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Cherokee to score on any of their three power plays.

Michigan additionally got points from John Arms, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Sartorius, who also finished with one goal and two assists. More assists for Michigan came via Marshall Helton, who had one.

Toledo did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Cherokee average 3.5 goals per game.

Spencer Craig made 30 saves for the Mountain Cats on 30 shots. Michigan incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Josh Cliff rejected 24 shots on goal for Toledo. The Cherokee incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
