St. Louis downs Twin City, 4-1

Trey Dodd finished with one point to lead the St. Louis Jr. Blues to a 4-1 victory over the Twin City Steel.

St. Louis stifled Twin City's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Jr. Blues could not produce up to they normal offensive output. St. Louis averages 6.3 goals per game. The Steel were unable to stop the Jr. Blues from sending pucks towards the net, and St. Louis eventually piled up 58 shots on goal.

St. Louis also got points from Jeremy Edwards, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. St. Louis also got a goal from Lucas Stewart as well. In addition, St. Louis received assists from Kyle Meeh, who had two and Sam Turner, Tommy Heinzman, Cody Guidorzi, and Brycon Johnson, who contributed one a piece.

Twin City was led by Trey Hughes, who scored the team's only goal. Hughes scored 6:25 into the second period to make the score 1-1.

Clint Steinmeyer rejected 17 shots on goal for the Jr. Blues. St. Louis incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Steel's Jared Schletty stopped 54 shots out of the 58 that he faced. Twin City incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
