Fresno downs Wenatchee, 3-1

Mitchell Snyder tallied two points to lead the Fresno Monsters to a 3-1 victory over the Wenatchee Wild.

Fresno also got points from Matt Salituro, who also had one goal and one assist. Fresno also got a goal from Jacob McDowell as well. In addition, Fresno received assists from Karl Andersen, Andrew Herlofsky, Dan Sherer, and Gordon Wells, who contributed one a piece.

Wenatchee's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Fresno power plays. The Wild's offense operated below they season average. Wenatchee puts an average of 3.3 pucks into the net per game.

The Wild were led by Evan Schmidbauer, who scored the team's only goal. Schmidbauer scored 11:10 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Nathan Flynn picked up the assist.

Tomas Sholl made 24 saves for Fresno on 25 shots. The Monsters ended with 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major. Nick Schmit took the loss and made 11 saves before being replaced by Robert Nichols who made six saves. Wenatchee totaled 27 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play.
