Milosek leads Port Huron to shutout victory over Janesville

Max Milosek made 26 saves to complete the shutout and led the Port Huron Fighting Falcons to a 5-0 win against the Janesville Jets.

Port Huron was paced by Kyle Plageman, who had one goal. Plageman scored 15:56 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Port Huron. Alex Archibald assisted on the tally.

The Fighting Falcons' defensive play was more effective than usual against Janesville. Port Huron allows 2.7 goals per game. The Fighting Falcons bested their season scoring average. This season, Port Huron averages 2.9 goals per contest. The Fighting Falcons' defensemen played well offensively, producing two goals while racking up 13 shots. Port Huron's offense was clicking better than usual and put 31 shots on goal during the game, better than the 26.8 shots per game it averages.

Port Huron also got points from Easton Powers, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Port Huron also had goals scored by Vito Aluia, who had one and Mick Bruce, who had two. In addition, Port Huron received assists from Tyler Spezia, who had two and David Parrottino, Dunk Abbott, Mitch Maloney, Nick Horne, and Payden Mielke, who each chipped in one.

Janesville was led by Pedlan Ruslan, who took four shots.
