The Topeka RoadRunners relied on the sparkling performance of Spencer Viele in net to grab a 4-1 win against the Texas Tornado.

Topeka pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 16 penalty minutes.

The RoadRunners were paced by Drew Kariofiles, who had one goal and one assist. Kariofiles scored 6:55 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Topeka. Michael Covach picked up the assist.

Topeka put 29 shots on net during the contest, more than the 23.5 it averages per game.

Topeka additionally got points from Brogan Rafferty, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Topeka also got a goal from Tyler Andrew as well. More assists for Topeka came via Sean Gaffney and Kyle Sharkey, who contributed one a piece.
