Mike Davis had one point to lead the Amarillo Bulls to a 4-1 victory over the Wichita Falls Wildcats. Amarillo put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Wichita Falls to score on any of its four power plays. The Bulls' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Amarillo finished with 20 penalty minutes. The Bulls put 36 shots on net during the contest, more than the 32.5 they average per game. Amarillo additionally got points from Matt Sieckhaus, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Ryan Cole also scored for Amarillo. Other players who recorded assists for Amarillo were Tyler Deresky, who had two and Gage Christianson, Tyler Gernhofer, Brady Ferguson, Blake Roubos, and Omar Mullan, who contributed one a piece. Amarillo's Collin Delia stopped 23 shots out of the 24 that he faced. The Bulls registered one goal on two power play opportunities. Evan Cowley recorded 32 saves for the Wildcats. Wichita Falls ended with 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors and two majors.
