Kyle Bauman racked up one point to lead the Wichita Falls Wildcats to a 3-0 victory over the Odessa Jackalopes. Wichita Falls excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The Wildcats' offense was clicking better than usual and put 43 shots on goal during the game, better than the 26.6 shots per game they average. Wichita Falls also got a goal from Sam Pzazza as well. In addition, Wichita Falls received assists from Nick Farmer, O'Neal L, Eliot Grauer, and Will Vosejpka, who each chipped in one. By firing 22 shots on goal, Odessa exceeded the 17.0 shots it averages per game this year. The Jackalopes' offense was helped by the efforts of their defensemen, who managed to put 10 shots on net during the game. Odessa was led by Mike Mezzano, who took three shots. Wichita Falls' Evan Cowley stopped 22 shots out of the 22 that he faced. The Wildcats totaled 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 1-for-3 on the power play.
