Behind a great game by Zack Szajner, who had one goal and three assists, the Michigan Warriors defeated the Springfield Jr. Blues, 6-2. Szajner scored 8:19 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Michigan. TJ Stuntz assisted on the tally. Szajner dished an assist on Stuntz's goal that made the score 2-0 Michigan at 7:11 into the first period. He then added assists on Sean Campbell's goal at 6:18 into the third and on Colin Larkin's goal at 18:37 into the third.Michigan surpassed its usual scoring output this season.
