The Soo Eagles relied on the sparkling performance of Tyler Marble in net to grab a 4-1 win against the Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings. Soo was led by Sean Murphy, who finished with one goal and one assist. Murphy scored on the power play 16:01 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Soo. A roughing penalty on Trevor Boyd had put the Eagles on the power play. Jared VanWormer picked up the assist.
