Michigan rides Kelley to victory over Jamestown, 3-1

Dillion Kelley stood on his head and made 40 saves to lead the Michigan Warriors to a 3-1 victory over the Jamestown Ironmen.

Michigan was led by Jake Faiella, who grabbed one goal. Faiella scored 13:53 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Michigan. Martin Gruse assisted on the tally.

The Warriors' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Jamestown power plays. The defensemen of Michigan were also effective in Jamestown's zone, and came away with two goals.

Colin Larkin also scored for Michigan. More assists for Michigan came via Zack Szajner, who had one.

The Ironmen stifled the Warriors' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Jamestown's offense rang up 41 shots on Michigan's net.

The Ironmen were led by Victor Johansson, who scored the team's only goal. Johansson scored 12:28 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Jamestown. Huba Sekesi picked up the assist.

The Warriors incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Blake Wojtala recorded 22 saves for Jamestown. The Ironmen incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
