Cambria County War Memorial    Sat, Feb 23, 2013

The shootout lasted for eight attempts between the teams. Fresno's other shootout goal was scored by Newton Fuller.

The Monsters came back from a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. Fresno was down 1-0 after a goal by Johnstown's JB Baker at 6:41 in the first period. The Monsters knotted things up at 1-1 on a goal by Mitchell Snyder at 15:45 in the first period.

Fresno was led by goalie Macauley Haight, who finished with 39 saves while allowing one goal. Haight certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.83 entering the contest.
