Ryan Doucet grabbed two points to lead the Jamestown Ironmen to a 3-1 victory over the Wenatchee Wild.

Jamestown averages 31.0 shots on goal per game, but only sent 24 pucks on net against Wenatchee.

Huba Sekesi also scored for Jamestown. In addition, Jamestown received assists from Luc Gerdes, who had two and Ross Pavek and Victor Johansson, who each chipped in one.

The Wild's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Jamestown power plays. Wenatchee was below its usual level of shot production, taking 20 shots compared to the 27.3 the Wild average. Wenatchee was held below its usual level of production. The Wild put an average of 3.4 pucks into the net per game. Wenatchee's defensemen bolstered the Wild's offensive attack, as they bombarded Joe Ballmer with nine shots.

Wenatchee was led by Jono Davis, who scored the team's only goal. Davis scored on the power play 7:15 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Jamestown. A cross checking penalty on Joe Mottiqua had put the Wild on the power play. Joshua Hartley picked up the assist.

The Ironmen's Ballmer stopped 19 shots out of the 20 that he faced. Jamestown incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Robert Nichols made 21 saves for Wenatchee on 24 shots. The Wild incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
