Amarillo downs Corpus Christi, 3-0

Ryan Cole had one point to lead the Amarillo Bulls to a 3-0 victory over the Corpus Christi IceRays.

Amarillo's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Corpus Christi power plays. The Bulls was steadier on the defensive front than they have been for much of this season. Amarillo allows 2.1 goals per game. The Bulls' offense was clicking better than usual and put 39 shots on goal during the game, better than the 34.5 shots per game they average.

Blake Roubos also scored for Amarillo. In addition, Amarillo received assists from Omar Mullan, who had two and Brady Ferguson and TJ Sarcona, who contributed one a piece.

Corpus Christi could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The IceRays put an average of 3.1 pucks into the net per game.

Corpus Christi was led by Beau Walker, who took three shots.

Paul Berrafato made 21 saves for Amarillo on 21 shots. The Bulls totaled 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. Hayden Stewart recorded 36 saves for the IceRays. Corpus Christi ended with 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major.
