Davis Dekorte racked up one point to lead the Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings to a 2-0 victory over the Jamestown Ironmen.

Kalamazoo was often in penalty trouble, totaling seven minors and one major for 29 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 17.0 minutes per game the Jr. K-Wings had been spending in the box. Kalamazoo excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Jr. K-Wings' defensive play was more effective than usual against Jamestown. Kalamazoo averages 2.9 goals allowed per game. With 38 shots on target during the contest, the Jr. K-Wings exceeded the 25.8 shots they average per game this year.

Luc Boby also scored for Kalamazoo. More assists for Kalamazoo came via Kyle Gattelaro, Christian George, and Brett Beauvais, who each chipped in one.
