Michael Mazzotta racked up one point to lead the Jamestown Ironmen to a 2-1 victory over the Port Huron Fighting Falcons. Jamestown's offense rang up 42 shots on Port Huron's net. Ross Pavek also scored for Jamestown. Other players who recorded assists for Jamestown were Nicholas Sierra, Joe Mottiqua, Tyler Dunagan, and Elliot Tisdale, who contributed one a piece. The Fighting Falcons stifled the Ironmen's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Port Huron failed to reach its usual level of shot production, putting 17 pucks on goal after averaging 24.9 shots per game this season. The Fighting Falcons' defensemen also contributed in the offensive zone and ended up with eight shots between them. Port Huron was led by Nick Horne, who scored the team's only goal. Horne scored 4:09 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Vito Aluia picked up the assist. Tim Shaughnessy rejected 16 shots on goal for Jamestown. The Ironmen incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Max Milosek recorded 40 saves for the Fighting Falcons. Port Huron incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
