Trevor Gorsuch recorded a shutout against the Port Huron Fighting Falcons as the Michigan Warriors picked up a 3-0 win.

Michigan was paced by Darren McCormick, who finished with one goal and one assist. McCormick scored on the power play 19:18 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Michigan. A roughing penalty on Easton Powers had put the Warriors on the power play. Zack Szajner provided the assist.

Michigan's offense was clicking better than usual and put 45 shots on goal during the game, better than the 27.9 shots per game it averages.

Michigan also got points from Martin Gruse, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Brad Pizzey also scored for Michigan. In addition, Michigan received assists from Corey Schueneman, Connor Lyons, and Brock Labelle, who contributed one a piece.

Port Huron could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Fighting Falcons put an average of 2.9 pucks into the net per game. Port Huron put 31 shots on net during the contest, more than the 24.6 it averages per game.

Trevor Gorsuch made 31 saves for the Warriors on 31 shots. Michigan incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Fighting Falcons' Alex Blankenburg stopped 42 shots out of the 45 that he faced. Port Huron incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
