The Bismarck Bobcats used a sparkling performance by Aaron Nelson to take down the Minot Minotauros, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Bismarck's 3-0 shutout victory.

Adam Knochenmus had two goals to lead the Bobcats to victory. Knochenmus' tallies came at 5:08 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Bismarck and 18:15 into the third to make the score 3-0 Bismarck.

Bismarck stifled Minot's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Bobcats' defensive play was more effective than usual against the Minotauros. Bismarck allows 2.5 goals per game. The Bobcats' offense was helped by the efforts of their defensemen, who managed to put 13 shots on net during the game.
