Wenatchee downs Jamestown, 3-0

Max McHugh tallied one point to lead the Wenatchee Wild to a 3-0 victory over the Jamestown Ironmen.

Wenatchee's defensive play was more effective than usual against Jamestown. The Wild allow 2.3 goals per game. With 39 shots on target during the contest, Wenatchee exceeded the 28.6 shots it averages per game this year.

Wenatchee also got a goal from David Powlowski as well. More assists for Wenatchee came via Joshua Hartley, who had two and David Mead, Nicholas Kuchera, Noah Nelson, and Blake Roubos, who each chipped in one.

The Ironmen average 28.1 shots on goal per game, but only sent 17 pucks on net against the Wild. Jamestown was held below its usual level of production. The Ironmen average 3.1 goals per game. Jamestown's offense was helped by the efforts of its defensemen, who managed to put seven shots on net during the game.

The Ironmen were led by Dylan Zink, who took three shots.

Robert Nichols made 17 saves for Wenatchee on 17 shots. The Wild totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play.
