Shane Omdahl registered one point to lead the Bismarck Bobcats to a 3-1 victory over the Fresno Monsters. Bismarck put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Fresno to score on any of its four power plays. The Bobcats failed to reach their usual level of shot production, putting 21 pucks on goal after averaging 26.7 shots per game this season. Bismarck additionally got points from Adam Knochenmus, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Bismarck also got a goal from Cory Chapman as well. Other players who recorded assists for Bismarck were Levi Blom and Patrick Moore, who contributed one a piece. The Monsters excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Fresno's offense was clicking better than usual and put 25 shots on goal during the game, better than the 21.7 shots per game it averages. The Monsters were led by Mitchell Snyder, who scored the team's only goal. Snyder scored 10:45 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Drew Aspinwall provided the assist. Aaron Nelson rejected 24 shots on goal for Bismarck. The Bobcats incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Tomas Sholl made 18 saves for Fresno on 20 shots.
