Texas downs Wichita Falls, 4-1

Scott Conway racked up one point to lead the Texas Tornado to a 4-1 victory over the Wichita Falls Wildcats.

Texas failed to reach its usual level of shot production, putting 24 pucks on goal after averaging 31.4 shots per game this season.

Brandon Hawkins also scored for Texas. Other players who recorded assists for Texas were Jackson Leef, Nick Neville, Cameron Brown, and Mitchell McPherson, who contributed one a piece.

Wichita Falls was below its usual level of shot production, taking 17 shots compared to the 31.1 the Wildcats average.

Wichita Falls was led by Will Vosejpka, who scored the team's only goal. Vosejpka scored 3:51 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Wichita Falls. Rudy Junda picked up the assist.

Hunter Leisner recorded 16 saves for the Tornado. Texas incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Wildcats' Brody Sharp stopped 20 shots out of the 24 that he faced. Wichita Falls incurred 28 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
