The Odessa Jackalopes' Lawrence Cornellier scored 2:23 into overtime to beat the Minot Minotauros, 3-2 (OT). Odessa came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Jackalopes was down 2-0 after a power play goal by Minot's Mason Morelli at 11:44 in the second period. Odessa knotted things up at 2-2 on a power play goal by Cornellier at 14:14 in the third period. Cornellier had two goals to lead the Jackalopes to victory. With 23 shots on target during the contest, Odessa exceeded the 20.5 shots it averages per game this year. The Jackalopes could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 34 minutes in penalties during the game. Taylor Portner also scored for Odessa. Other players who recorded assists for Odessa were Jalen Krogman, Ryan Doucet, Steven Haydon, Mike Mezzano, and Tyler Cayemberg, who each chipped in one. The Minotauros were below their usual level of shot production, taking 17 shots compared to the 23.0 Minot averages. The Minotauros could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 24 minutes in penalties during the game. Minot also got a goal from Jadin Martin as well. More assists for Minot came via Jake Clifford, who had two and Tim Donohue and Lucas Oliver, who contributed one a piece. Odessa's starting goalie, Blake Wojtala, made seven saves and finished with the win before he was taken out in favor of Jacob Theut, who stopped eight shots. The Jackalopes registered one goal on seven power play opportunities. Ryan Ruck made 20 saves for Minot on 23 shots. The Minotauros registered two goals on seven power play opportunities.
