Nicholas Kuchera finished with one point to lead the Wenatchee Wild to a 3-0 victory over the Michigan Warriors. Wenatchee's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Michigan power plays. The Wild featured an improved defense during the game. Wenatchee gives up 2.3 goals on average per game. Wenatchee also got points from Trace Redmond, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Evan Schmidbauer also scored for Wenatchee. In addition, Wenatchee received assists from Joshua Hartley, Chris Kerr, Jacob Barber, and Blake Roubos, who each chipped in one. Michigan excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Warriors relied on a core group of players for most of their offense, as Corey Schueneman, Brock Labelle and Jimmy Peplinski took 10 of the team's 19 shots. Evan McCarthy made 19 saves for the Wild on 19 shots. Wenatchee ended with 21 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major. Michael Pesendorfer rejected 24 shots on goal for Michigan. The Warriors incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
