The Corpus Christi IceRays' Perry DArrisso scored 40 seconds into overtime to beat the Soo Eagles, 4-3 (OT). Corpus Christi came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The IceRays fell behind 2-0 after a goal by Soo's Jayce Douskey at 13:35 in the second period. Corpus Christi knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Jared VanWormer at 15:52 in the third period. The IceRays put 43 shots on net during the contest, more than the 24.0 they average per game. Corpus Christi also got points from Rudy Sulmonde, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Tommy Telesca also scored for Corpus Christi.
