West Michigan Hounds 18U sunk by penalties, falls to Detroit Falcons 18U 5-2

West Michigan Hounds 18U lost to Detroit Falcons 18U, as its penalty kill allowed Detroit Falcons 18U to score four goals with a man advantage.

Detroit Falcons 18U was sparked by Wyatt Ford, who registered one goal. Ford scored on the power play 12:15 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Detroit Falcons 18U. Detroit Falcons 18U had gained a power play chance when Michael Wood was whistled for elbowing. Tim Foley picked up the assist.

In a losing effort, West Michigan Hounds 18U was led by Regan Ward, who grabbed two goals. Ward scored the first of his two goals at 13:01 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Detroit Falcons 18U. Cory Day assisted on the tally.
