Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Indiana Jr. Ice 18U defeated West Michigan Hounds 18U in a shootout 4-3. The shootout featured nine attempts between both teams. West Michigan Hounds 18U's shootout goal was scored by Christian Howard.
