Wade leads Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U over New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U, 8-3

Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U's James Wade had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 8-3 win over New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U.

Wade's tallies came at 16 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U and 16:59 into the first to make the score 4-2 Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U.

Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 48 penalty minutes.

Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U kept New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U's goalie busy throughout the game, and Joseph Licata made 32 saves on 40 shots. Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U has scored at the pace of 4.3 goals per game during the current campaign.

Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U also got points from Max Mclain, who also racked up two goals and two assists, Marcus Mollica, who also registered one goal and three assists, and Doc Gentzler, who also tallied two goals and one assist. Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U also got a goal from Max Kilkuts as well. In addition, Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U received assists from Orand Werenka, Kohl Donovan, Colin Woods, and Charles Arsenescu, who each chipped in one.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U to score on any of its five power plays. New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 46 minutes in penalties during the game.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U was helped by Nikita Klinisovs, who had one goal and one assist. Klinisovs scored on the power play 9:06 into the first period to make the score 2-2. New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U had gained a power play chance when Cody Page was whistled for slashing. Ryan Burr picked up the assist. Nikita Samoylov also scored for New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U. More assists for New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U came via Dominic De La Guardia, Michael Ludwig, Joshua Suboyu, and Thomas Godfrey, who contributed one a piece.

Quentin Abrams rejected 12 shots on goal for Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U. Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Woods was ejected from the game. New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U registered one goal on six power play opportunities. For New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U, Burr was ejected from the game.
