Cash's goals lift Pittsburgh Viper Stars 18U to 6-3 victory over Phoenix Firebirds 18U

Pittsburgh Viper Stars 18U relied on the scoring touch of Connor Cash, who netted two goals, to beat Phoenix Firebirds 18U, 6-3.

Cash scored at 7:34 into the second period to make the score 2-2 and again while 16:58 into the second to make the score 4-2 Pittsburgh Viper Stars 18U.

Pittsburgh Viper Stars 18U's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Phoenix Firebirds 18U power plays. Pittsburgh Viper Stars 18U forced Phoenix Firebirds 18U goalie Jaxson Gosnell to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots. Pittsburgh Viper Stars 18U surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Pittsburgh Viper Stars 18U has scored at the pace of 3.6 goals per game during the current campaign.
