Wolfe found the back of the net on the power play 2:04 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 7:31 into the third to make the score 2-1 West Michigan Hounds 18U.

San Jose Jr Sharks 18U was stymied by West Michigan Hounds 18U netminder Nick Light, who stopped 39 shots during the victory. Light certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.02 entering the contest.

West Michigan Hounds 18U managed to stay out of the box for the most part, tallying one minor for 22 minutes in penalty time.
