Early goals doom New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U, falls to Indiana Jr. Ice 18U, 7-2

A four-goal first period deficit cost New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U, which could not recover and fell to Indiana Jr. Ice 18U, 7-2.

Alex Huettl had two goals and one assist to lead Indiana Jr. Ice 18U. Huettl scored the first of his two goals at 7:49 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Indiana Jr. Ice 18U. Joe Chitwood picked up the assist. Huettl's next tally made the score 3-0 Indiana Jr. Ice 18U with 5:27 left in the first period. Ryan Murphy assisted on the tally.

Indiana Jr. Ice 18U surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Indiana Jr. Ice 18U has scored at the pace of 4.3 goals per game during the current campaign.
