Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Omaha AAA Lancers 18U defeated West Michigan Hounds 18U in a shootout 3-2.

The shootout lasted for 16 attempts between the teams. West Michigan Hounds 18U got a shootout goal from Brandon Wolfe. In addition to the clincher, Omaha AAA Lancers 18U got a shootout goal from Ryan Cagnoni.
