California Titans 18U overcame a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. California Titans 18U was down 2-1 after a goal by Omaha AAA Lancers 18U's Becker at 9:06 in the third period. California Titans 18U tied things up at 2-2 on a goal by Liam Stritzinger at 11:36 in the third period.

Stritzinger had two goals to lead California Titans 18U to victory.

California Titans 18U put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Omaha AAA Lancers 18U to score on any of its three power plays.

In addition, California Titans 18U received assists from Nicholas Wallace, Jake Lam, and Mikko Kivinen, who contributed one a piece.

California Titans 18U's defense shut down Omaha AAA Lancers 18U's forwards for much of the game, and Omaha AAA Lancers 18U got off only 13 shots during the contest.

Omaha AAA Lancers 18U was helped by Parker Grass, who registered one goal. Grass scored 5:15 into the third period to make the score 1-1. George Gruber assisted on the tally. More assists for Omaha AAA Lancers 18U came via Braiden Miller and Blake Copperud, who each chipped in one.
